The dragonfly motif is the most iconic of Tiffany Studios lamps. It was designed by head artist Clara Driscoll and won a medal at the 1900 Paris World’s Fair & Exposition.

 

The Classic Dragonfly has been our most popular lamp ever since making our first one thirty five years ago. The deceptively simple design has many stories to tell about a day in the life of a dragonfly. I wrote about it in my monthly newsletter. I placed this shade on a floor base but it would also make an attractive table or hanging lamp.
