Terms and Conditions of Sale

 

Prices for merchandise do not include:

  • Sales tax if possession is taken in California.

  • Shipping costs. Please contact us for shipping cost estimates.

  • Import duties.

 

 

Mode of payment:

We accept credit cards, PayPal, cash, money orders and checks.

Checks must be deposited and cleared before merchandise is released.

Payments are to be made in U.S. Dollars drawn on a U.S. bank for the full amount of the invoice.

 

 

Returned Checks

A $30.00 fee will be charged for checks that are returned and not accepted by the bank.  Any and all costs associated in our collections efforts will be your responsibility.  The order that you place is your acceptance of these terms.

Shipping

Lead Time

Your purchase is important to us and will be processed as quickly as possible.  Please allow approximately three weeks for processing, custom packing, shipping and delivery.  You will receive a forwarded email from the carrier with the arrival date and tracking number.

 

Shipments

  • All shipments are prepaid.

  • All shipments are custom packed.

  • All shipments are fully insured. 

  • All shipments require a signature upon delivery.

  • Prices quoted for merchandise do not include packing, shipping, and sales tax applicable to California deliveries nor duties/taxes incurred by customs all of which are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Shipping fees will be quoted after the merchandise is packed, weighed and measured. 

  • We ship via FedEx Ground Service or the U.S. Postal Service within the USA and FedEx Great Rates for international deliveries or via best way.  

  • You may pick up your purchase in person by appointment. (San Francisco sales tax will apply).

 

Shipping Damage

We do not anticipate breakage in shipping however, should there be an accident please follow the directions below:

  • For obvious external damage or internal rattling indicating probable damage, open carton in the presence of the driver. Instruct driver to note damage in his/her log.

  • Contact us immediately either by email lorena@shadesoftiffany.biz or phone 415 345-8529.  We are here to help get the situation resolved.

  • All claims must be made within two weeks of receipt of goods.

  • In order to process a claim all damaged items must be kept in the original cartons and packaging. Save all materials and damaged items.

  • If these instructions are not followed, we have the right to refuse processing any claims.

  • Replacements or refunds will be made only after Shades of Tiffany is notified of completion of the claim by the carrier.

Returns and Refunds

  • Our merchandise is guaranteed against defects.

  • Stained glass items on our website are represented as accurately as possible with detailed photographs and descriptions, therefore we discourage customer impulsive buying and casual returns.

  • No returns accepted without prior authorization.

  • All return requests must be written within 30 days of receipt of goods.

  • Merchandise returned must be in same condition as received.

  • Customer pays for return shipping and full insurance of non defective merchandise.

  • A 30% restocking fee will apply to non damaged goods returned.

  • Refunds are returned via original payment source.
