The Peony flower inspired many Tiffany lamp shades in different sizes and shapes. In this lamp the shade is conical shaped displaying a pattern of peonies portrayed in various stages of bloom from buds to whole flowers to fully opened mature blossoms.

 

They are scattered about the shade, overlapping with each other with much energy. Rich, deep vibrant jewel tones of purple, blue, pink, and greens give a feeling of springtime jubilation.

The stem of the cast metal base has a motif of stacked rose buds. The base color is dark bronze in a satin finish.
