This Mission style pattern with its prominent twisty ribbon design is loosely based on the organic shapes of the famous Scotch Arts & Crafts designer, Mackintosh.  The diagonal braid contrasts with the typical straight lines familiar with Mission style. 

 

The shade lights up with colors of a  green/lime ribbon on top of a dark periwinkle blue vertical band. The background is light honey. The design is framed within a butterscotch border.

 

The wood lamp base is square-shaped with clean straight lines that mirror the square shape of the shade. Its blonde color matches the honey glass. It is stained with a smooth satin finish.
