Imagine looking up at a canopy light fixture depicting intertwined branches full with lily flowers in various stages of bloom. A striking feature of this springtime shade is the “waxy” looking hand rolled art glass used that gives a dreamlike softness to the overall scene in lovely pastel colors of purples, pinks, turquoise, greens and pale blue background for the sky.

 

A special touch are the solder lily stamen that actually raise off the shade. The shade is framed with a thin scalloped border of root beer colored glass, accented with a few amber colored jewels.

Much time and skill have gone into creating this work of art.
