Currier and Ives were partners who founded a successful printmaking firm in New York City, 1834-1907. They produced hand-colored prints of Americana copied from paintings by celebrated artists of the day. Today, any existing original prints are highly collectible.

Our shade is illustrated with four popular Currier & Ives scenes. Each scene is repeated twice around the shade on eight bent panels. We fired ceramic decals permanently  onto the marbled honey glass. This warm shade will add a touch of charming Victorian nostalgia to your home.
