Wisteria Table Lamp
17” W x 24” H.
Standing like a jeweled tree, the Wisteria table lamp is colorful and unique. This labor-intensive pattern is a take on Tiffany’s iconic and very valuable Giant Wisteria table lamp. It was designed in 1902 by Tiffany’s top studio designer, Clara Driscol, as an interpretation of a wisteria vine transformed into a leaded glass table lamp.
We used only hand rolled, stained glass to depict a wisteria’s various depths of colors as it blooms from closed buds to open blossoms. Represented are several pastel-colored vines intermingled together.
The shade is presented on a clean-lined, antique buffed, metal table base that in this case appropriately resembles a tree trunk. It is wired with a single socket, 3-way turn-switch that takes a standard 60-watt bulb.
A dramatic table lamp that will showcase as a one-of-a-kind art-piece in your home.
